It was one hundred days until Christmas and I thought I'd try one hundred posts. Ha! If only my life was so exciting! Of course, it's Murphy's Law that when I decided to do this, my workload was fairly light and now I've got a couple of new jobs and at the office where I volunteer, I have a Halloween party and Holiday party to organize.
About the only photos I could post would be piles of paper on my desk (... and on the floor, the sofa and the printer stand).
One thing I did do was discover the art form of Zentangle. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's sort of pen and ink doodles, occasionally with colors, and it's a blast! Apologies for the rough photo.
I was practicing and thought that a kind of "daily diary" might work while I figure it all out. This is the first one I did and it shows my last Sunday : on the bottom left is Brunch (shown as coffee cups and cubed potatoes), top left is magazines (we hung out at Barnes and Noble for a while), across the middle is swirling wind (we blew the leaves off the deck and put the outdoor furniture away), and the leaves are at the bottom right and were beech and sycamore spinning pods (or big leaf maple, I think they're called here). This is something I could really get into as I love the detail, yet each graphic is small and doesn't take too long to put together.
I think I'll temper my ambitions and just post now and again when I actually have something interesting to say (how can you resist that temptation to return and read my blog?).
